Lao Cui Talks | Episode 5 - Love Stories

Recently, there have been no posts from Lao Cui, mainly because he has been too busy. A while ago, he personally worked on the design of a project and hid himself in the company for half a month without going out, completely immersed in the design. Lao Cui has no other hobbies, and this design is both his interest and his lifelong career. How to put it, although he is tired, he still enjoys the process. Lao Cui believes that only when you love something from the bottom of your heart can it last for a long time.

Today is Qixi Festival, and I'll join the trend and join the fun. Talking about this Qixi Festival, it's naturally inseparable from the theme of love. Let's briefly discuss how Lao Cui views love. In the eyes of others, Lao Cui has always been a workaholic, let alone love. Actually, I just view this matter relatively calmly and rationally, without too much emotional attachment. This may differ from everyone's experiences and age. In my eyes, love is just a part of life, and there are many other beautiful things in life. Tang Bohu's poem "The Old Young Man" says, "People worry too much when they are young, flowers worry too little when they are old. Neither the young nor the old care about it, let's drink and write poetry in front of flowers." Later, this sentence was interpreted as: "One should not be frivolous and waste their youth." Yes, who hasn't been young? But when a stage passes, one tends to look at things more calmly and rationally. When passion and enthusiasm return to life, it may often be a kind of steady flow, tolerance, and a life attitude of not dealing with emotional issues excessively... These are Lao Cui's interpretation of love.

As an observer, love can sometimes be so incredible. Some people swear eternal love and harmony when they are in love, but they cannot escape the details of life, leading to the exhaustion of love and its sudden end. Some people, even if they are heartbroken by love, still end up on different paths. There are also some people who stumble along the way, separating and reuniting, repeatedly tossed around by the so-called love, grinding through decades of ups and downs, and even singing all the songs of separation, still unchanging in their original intention. Similar to this unquenchable pain, who can say that it is not because of love? No matter what kind of fate one encounters in this life, whether it is love or being loved, being able to meet each other is a predestined fate. Being attracted to someone is based on first impression. Once love turns into a cautious tug-of-war between each other, care becomes a restraint and a fuse for mutual harm, and letting go may be the wisest choice. Love has never been about deserving or not deserving, but about suitability or unsuitability. We know that falling in love is a matter for one person. But being in love is a matter for two people. Whether to love or not to love, deep love or shallow love, is a matter for oneself. Whether to cherish or let go depends on how deeply one loves the other. Generally, everything in the world can be explained clearly. But love cannot be explained. Some loves are only understood by oneself. Some behaviors are only understood by oneself. Perhaps some people's love begins with shallow joy and later becomes deep love. This feeling is probably experienced by many people.

Well... Old Cui might have spoken recklessly in this issue, but no matter what, it's from the bottom of his heart. If there are differing views, just consider it as Old Cui's venting. Haha... I still prefer the days when things are calm and tranquil, living a laid-back life. Feeling happy means feeling at ease... Speaking of this laid-back attitude, the design I recently made is also laid-back. I named this work "In the Name of the Mountain".

The Happy Coast branch of Xiangtianxia is located in a dining and food plaza with a strong artistic atmosphere in Shenzhen, so the design positioning for this project was set as an art restaurant. The theme of this project is named "In the Name of the Mountain", incorporating mountain elements throughout the entire space in the form of lines. Simplicity, elegance, artistic style, and high cost-effectiveness are the main keywords of this project.

最近一直没老崔的文字发表，实属老崔太忙，前段时间亲自做了一个项目的设计，躲在公司半个月就没出门，心思也铺在设计上了。老崔也没别的爱好，唯独这设计又是兴趣又是自己这辈子的工作，怎么说呢，其实虽然累但是还是很享受这个过程的，老崔认为只有从内心深处热爱，才会长长久久。

今天七夕节，老崔也蹭一波热度，凑个热闹。说起这个七夕节自然是离不开爱情的主题。浅谈一下老崔是怎么看待爱情的，别人眼里老崔向来是个工作狂，何谈爱情。其实吧，我只是看待这个事情相对来说比较冷静和理智了一点，没有太多感性的东西，这个可能和每个人的经历、年龄有所区别吧。在我眼里，爱情这个东西只是生活当中的一部分，生活当中还有很多其他美好的事物。唐伯虎的《老少年》说：“人为多愁少年老，花为无愁老少年。年老少年都不管，且将诗酒醉花前。 后来这句话就被解读为：人不轻狂枉少年。是的，谁还没有个年轻的时候，只是当一个阶段过去了，相对来说就会看的淡然很多吧。当激情和热情回归到生活以后可能更多的时候是一种细水长流，宽容，不会极端的处理情感问题的生活态度……这些都是老崔眼里对爱情的解读。

作为一个旁观者呢 ，爱情有时就是那么不可思议，有些人相爱时海誓山盟、琴瑟和鸣，却逃不开生活的细节，导致情源枯竭，爱因此无疾而终。有些人即便爱得肝肠寸断，到最后还是一人向左，一人向右。也有一些人，一路磕磕绊绊，分分合合，几度被所谓的爱情来回折腾，风风雨雨里磨合几十年，甚至把所有的离歌全唱过，依然不改初心。类似这种戒不掉的疼痛，谁又能说这不是因为爱情？不管今生遇见了怎样的情缘，也无论爱与被爱，彼此能够遇见，就是上天注定好的缘份。被一个人吸引，看的是眼缘。一但爱情使得彼此之间变成小心翼翼的撕扯，关心变成了束缚和互相伤害的导火索，放手或许也是最明智的选择。爱情，从来没有配不配，有的只是适不适合。我们深知，爱上，是一个人的事儿。相爱，却是两个人的事儿。爱与不爱，深爱或浅爱，是自己的事儿。珍不珍惜，放不放手，取决于爱到对方何种程度。但凡天下的事，一般都能说得清。唯独爱，无法解释。有些爱，只是自己明了。有些行为，唯有自己懂得。也许有些人的爱情，就是开始浅喜后来才是深爱，这种感觉大概很多人都经历过。

额。。。。老崔本期有些妄言了，但不管怎样出自本心，如有不同看法的就当老崔发发牢骚罢了，哈哈。。。老崔我还是喜欢风轻云淡的日子，过着佛系的生活，感觉幸福便是安好….说起这佛系，我最近做的这个设计亦是佛系，我给这个作品起了个名字为“以山之名”。

香天下欢乐海岸店地处深圳比较艺术氛围的餐饮美食广场，故而在设计本案时候设计定位为艺术餐厅。本案的主题名为“以山之名“将山的元素以线的形式贯穿于整个空间。简约，大气，艺术范儿，性价比高是本案的主要几个关键词。

The design of the door primarily follows the design concept of "In the Name of the Mountain". Apart from the main theme, the extended shapes on both sides are movable installation art designs intended for decorative purposes at the door entrance.

门的设计在主体上沿用了”以山之名“的设计理念，除却主题造型以外，左右里两边的延伸造型均是成品可移动的装置艺术造型用于门头等位装饰。

At the entrance hall, a flowing water landscape was designed according to the requirements of the Feng Shui master, complemented by fiberglass art sculptures. The black wrought iron frame and cloud-shaped lighting fixtures create a three-dimensional composition that resembles a framed art decorative painting.

入口玄关处应风水大师的要求设计了流水景观，配以玻璃钢艺术造型雕塑，黑色铁艺边框和云朵造型灯具让立体造型形成一副有边框的艺术装饰画。

The ground floor atrium space features a layered and patchwork design. At the cashier area, retail space, and behind the stairs, three sets of modeling spaces are designed using aluminum square tubes with wood grain transfer printing, which also incorporate the element of mountains expressed in the form of lines, blending seamlessly with the shape of the C card. The space already has a main highlight, with the other walls made of cement board material. The simple design serves to accentuate the main shape. Additionally, the original corridor on the second floor has been redesigned into a more artistic display window featuring distant mountains, echoing the design theme.

一楼中庭空间地面层次错落有致，在收银处，零售和楼梯后方设计了三组以铝方通转印木纹材质的造型空间亦是沿用了山的元素以线的形式表达出来与C卡的造型浑然一体。空间中已有主体亮点，其他墙面均为水泥板材质。简单造型去衬托主体造型。另外将二楼空间原有过廊设计为较有意境的远山橱窗呼应设计主题。

The original columns here have been filled in, and the wall background is made of cement board. In front of the gray background wall, there is a mountainous terrain design, with hidden light strips hand-painted on the base layer.

此图为二楼公共区域，二楼公共区域同一楼公共区域造型，此处原有柱体补平，墙面背景为水泥板材质，灰色背景墙前方为山峦造型，基层手绘暗藏灯带。

The center of the private room features a linear screen sliding door, which can be divided into two separate private rooms or combined for group gatherings. The wall background is made of gray cement board, with black mirror stainless steel lines filling the gaps. The design of the decorative art cabinet also follows a linear shape, enhancing the integration of points, lines, and surfaces in the space. Due to the limited height of the second floor, mirrored materials are used in the top design to stretch the space.

包房中间设计有线性屏风推拉门，可以分为两个单独的包房，又可以联通用以团体聚会使用。墙面背景材质均为灰色水泥板，分缝填充黑色镜面不锈钢线条。在装饰艺术柜的设计上亦是沿用了线条造型，让空间的点线面更加融合。由于二层层高有限制，故而在顶部的设计应用了镜面材质拉伸了空间。

From the top-down view, one can better appreciate the theme of this project, "In the Name of the Mountain," which incorporates mountain elements throughout the space in the form of lines. Simplicity, elegance, artistic flair, and high cost-effectiveness are the main keywords.

Each design work often reveals the distinct temperament of each designer at different stages of their development. The works of Lao Cui are no exception.

从顶视图中可以更好的体会到本案的主题“以山之名“ 将山的元素以线的形式贯穿于整个空间。简约，大气，艺术范儿，性价比高，主要几个关键词。

每个设计作品往往都会透漏出每个设计师自身的每个发展阶段不同的气质。老崔的作品亦是如此。
